How to Update all drivers in windows 10

#1. Manual Update

If you don't want to use software, you can always manually update all of your drivers in Windows 10.

Here you need to go to the device manager where all the windows drivers are displayed along with their hardware and software purposes.

Just go to the search box and type device manager and it will show you that window.

From here, you just need to right-click on the driver and go to properties and then you will see

an update option.

When you click on the update button, you will see two options called automatic download and manual download.

Here Automatic download will search over the internet for the necessary and the latest driver and install it.

Below the automatic download option, there is a manual installation option.

This option is used to install stock drivers that came with Windows installation or else if you have downloaded driver file manually from the internet, you can choose here and it will install it.

You also need to update DirectX along with your GPU and CPU as well.

If you're facing DirectX installation errors you just need to reinstall it using the latest directx setup.

#2. Windows updates

It's really a very easy and obvious one. Because it just takes one click to update all of your drivers in Windows and Windows know how to do this thing effectively.

Just update your Windows and it will install all the necessary drivers that need to be configured with your Windows system.

#3. Driver updater

First, you need to download the software from the link given below.

It's free software, so don't worry about paying anything.

Download Driver Booster Free Version

It really is a good software and one-click Driver Update tool I found on the Internet when I was searching for how to update all drivers in Windows 10 in one click.

If windows security is blocking this software or giving you any false virus alerts then just turn off windows defender and then use this tool.

Sure, you can update all of your drivers manually one by one.

But it takes a lot of time and it is really hectic to click on each driver manually and go to

properties and then update it and select automatic download and update.

Too many steps, just to update One Driver, that's not fair enough for Windows users.

Suggested:

Why should you update your drivers?

Because it installs the new version which helps in windows system to run driver smoothly without any interruptions and errors.

It will fix bugs and problems.

It will also make your windows system compatible to work your driver efficiently without any high CPU usage and problems.

Many people ignore this and end up just like others.

Windows is constantly updating itself to get familiar with new components and program features.

Hence, drivers in the windows system also perform even better with better versions i.e. new and latest updates.

These drivers must be updated always:

  • Display Driver
  • Network Driver
  • USB Drivers
  • Audio Drivers

These are the most common yet essential drivers to perform windows 10 well even in critical conditions.

How often should you update your drivers?

It's totally up to you.

If you want to update your drivers regularly, then check every 2 weeks or a month.

But if you don't really have to check it regularly.

If you install the driver booster, it will automatically scan for the newest release and will install it in the windows system.

Once you update your drivers, you really don't need to update it at least for a year.

Because most of the time, you already have all the functional drivers which are capable of doing everything on your PC.

So, that's why I told you that it's totally up to you whether you want to install it every month or year.

Just follow the steps shown above and you will install all the latest drivers in windows 10 easily within 1 click.

That's It!
